Finding Peace from Sexual Addiction: Free Trauma Webinar This Friday

A key part of recovery from sexual addiction is healing from attachment wounds. These wounds could include Loss, Rejection, Neglect, Abandonment, Betrayal, and Abuse. If those wounds are part of your history, I invite you to check out Troy Love’s Finding Peace from Sexual Addiction webinar through the Center for Healthy Sex this Friday at 12:00pm PST (FREE).

Here’s a description of the webinar:

This presentation explores six attachment wounds that play a role in sexual addiction. We explore a method to personify shame to develop greater shame resiliency while also empowering the client to take steps towards healing. Participants will also learn a simple way for clients to identify unmet needs, that when met, reduce suffering associated with attachment wounds.

If you’re not aware, the Center for Healthy Sex is a leading provider of resources in the sexual addiction treatment field, so this is a HUGE platform for Troy to share his expertise with the world. I too am scheduled to present for CHS on March 8 and am incredibly grateful for the invitation.

I require Troy’s Finding Peace Workbook for my LifeSTAR clients (addicts & partners) and recommend it to everyone recovering from sexual addiction and trauma. If that’s you, you won’t want to miss this week’s webinar. Click here to register and please share this post with others who may be interested. If you miss the webinar, check out the CHS YoutTube channel because I’m certain it will be posted there afterwards.

Lastly, if you or someone you love has experienced trauma or addiction, I highly recommend giving the skilled LifeSTAR Sacramento therapists a call. We have helped many people recover and we are honored to help you as well. Our next Getting Started Workshop is November 30 – December 1. This is a life-changing 2-Day Intensive for addicts and partners (couples and individuals). If you’re needing help, we hope to hear from you soon.
